Leaders of the political parties Jaunais laiks, Pilsoniskā savienība and Sabiedrība citai politikai choose Robert's Books (we are near the parliament) for a press conference on 24th August 2009 at which they sign an electoral agreement.

Robert's Books is a second-hand, English-language bookshop. We're strong on literary fiction, crime & thrillers, history, and politics. Almost all of our books are priced between one and five Lats. The proprietor is Robert Cottrell. Co-managers: Gary Peach, Talis Saule Archdeacon.

Robert's Books is at 12 Antonijas iela, in the "quiet centre" of Riga. The entrance to the shop is just around the corner, on Dzirnavu iela, across from the Alberts Hotel. Here's a Google map, with a big red pin where the shop is. We're very close to the British Embassy, and to the Jugendstil buildings on Alberta Iela.
