  We re-open on December 1st at Antonijas 12 (entrance on Dzirnavu, opposite Alberts hotel)

  Saturday 24th October will be our last day of trading in the current shop. We will remain closed through November, then re-open on December 1st at Antonijas 12. The entrance of the new shop is round the corner on Dzirnavu, opposite the Alberts hotel.

  The Air Baltic airport shuttle is good, but not good enough to erase happy memories of the 22A airport bus. Wouldn’t it be better to have a stop near the Reval Latvija? Wouldn’t it be better to post signs and timetables at all the stops? And wouldn’t 2Ls be a better price? That way two people travelling together would be much less tempted to take a taxi.

  I’m going to be a regular at Boulangerie Bonjour, a new French cafe at 22 Jēkaba iela, between Ķuze and the bookshop. The 1.30Ls soup takeaway is a gift. The 0.60Ls coffee and croissant breakfast is a steal. The 1Ls slice of quiche is a feast
